The Zpacks Large Food Bag is designed to handle the demands of multi-day trips, where durability, simplicity, and efficient packing matter most. Made from robust 1.6 oz/sqyd Dyneema® Composite Fabric, it offers increased resistance to abrasion and punctures, ideal for carrying heavier, bulkier, or sharp-edged food items.
With a capacity suited for approximately 5–6 days of food, this bag is a reliable choice for longer hikes and backcountry adventures. The material is tough enough to deter most small rodents, while still remaining lightweight. 

For best results, it should always be hung out of reach when camping.
The rectangular shape is optimized to fit neatly into your backpack, whether placed upright or laid horizontally depending on your pack size. A wide opening makes it easy to access and organize your food, so you spend less time digging and more time enjoying your trip.
Practical details enhance usability in the field. The roll-top closure features a stiffened edge for easy and secure sealing, while fully taped seams help keep moisture out in typical backpacking conditions (though not designed for full submersion). Simply press out excess air, roll the top down, and compress the contents to save space.
Each bag also includes a carabiner, allowing you to easily hang it from a loop near the closure for safe overnight storage.
